CTA: Cherenkov Telescope Array

The Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) is a project launched in 2010 by an international consortium for Earth-based gamma-ray astronomy. The Cherenkov Telescope Array Observatory (CTAO) will be the world's most powerful ground-based observatory for very high-energy gamma-ray astronomy.
