The European Strategy on Research and Technology Infrastructures: On September 15, 2025, the European Commission adopted a new long-term European strategy for research and technology infrastructures. Research and technology infrastructures are the backbone of the European research and innovation system. They range from state-of-the-art laboratories, large scientific instruments, and data centers to pilot plants, test environments, and clean rooms. Together, they support the entire innovation cycle – from cutting-edge research to the validation and deployment of new technologies. This makes them crucial for Europe's scientific excellence, competitiveness, and technological sovereignty. Further information: https://research-and-innovation.ec.europa.eu/strat...
