ESRF EBS: European Synchrotron Radiation Facility Upgrade (EBS)
European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) is a multinational large-scale research facility in Grenoble. ESRF operates the largest electron synchrotron in Europe built specifically for research with synchrotron radiation and the third largest of its kind in the world. The circumference of the ESRF electron storage ring is 844 metres. The ESRF upgrade is an extensive renewal programme and involves the conversion of the storage ring.
