Short Description

The Forming Technology Laboratory provides state-of-the-art infrastructure for experimental development, alloy optimization, as well as preproduction scanning of the forming processes of extrusion, deep drawing, rolling and forging.

• Support with forming processes in a technological and scientific capacity
• Addressing forming issues
• Manufacturing of demonstrators and testing of industry-grade forming products
• Feasibility studies to improve formability, particularly of high-strength aluminum and magnesium alloys
