Short Description
The Leica UC Enuity is a next generation (cryo)-ultramicrotome that allows to slice thick biological samples into 50-500 nm thin sections for further 2D or 3D visualisation in an electron mciroscope. Its automated trimming and alignment functions make it easy-to-use and accessible also for non-experts. It can be used for routine applications of classical resin-embedded samples at room-temperature as well as for cutting-edge cryo-sectioning close to the native state.
