Short Description

The production cell consists of an infrared (IR) oven, a 6-axis robot system and an injection molding machine. Quasi-two-dimensional continuous fiber-reinforced semi-finished products are first heated in the IR oven and then inserted into the mold of the injection molding machine by the handling robot. During closing, the semi-finished product is transformed into a three-dimensional structure and then functionalized by back injection.
