Open for Collaboration

Short Description

TÜV AUSTRIA is an independent partner for testing, inspections, and certifications, bringing together extensive expertise in testing for research, development, and product safety.

For railway-related projects and services, TÜV AUSTRIA RAIL GmbH complements the portfolio of the Testing Center.

At the TÜV AUSTRIA Testing Center in Vienna (1230), customers have access to a versatile infrastructure for investigating materials, components, and products under a wide range of mechanical, environmental, and operational conditions. The scope of testing covers material properties, internal component structures, mechanical stresses, electrical safety, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).

A key advantage of the TÜV AUSTRIA Testing Center is the ability to combine different testing methods and consolidate multiple testing requirements within a single facility.

By bringing these services together at one location, TÜV AUSTRIA offers an interdisciplinary one-stop-shop solution for research and development projects.

Our main services are:
- Structures- & component testing
- Materials testing & metallurgical analysis
- In-service measurement incl. MRT
- Failure analysis
- Engineering services
- Inspection & certification
