Research Services

The infrastructure will be opened for external applications after the installation phase is completed. Please feel free to contact us for more information.

Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure

Atomic-resolution scanning transmission electron microscopy
High-energy-resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy
Low-temperature microscopy
4D-STEM
In situ microscopy

Cryo-enabled atomic-resolution scanning transmission electron microscope with high-energy resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy and direct integration into an extensive vacuum system containing additional experimental stations.

Terms of Use

An international board will be established for evaluating external applications. Access will depend on the scientific quality and on whether this infrastructure is specifically required or whether other, more commonly available setups would be adequate.
