Open for Collaboration

Short Description

XtremeCT is specially designed to perform high-resolution pQCT studies at distal tibia and radius of humans for clinical in vivo assessment of osteoporosis. A low X-ray dose allows regular follow-up measurements and powerful true-3D evaluation software automatically matches cortical and trabecular bone regions to previous measurements for direct comparison of density and structure characteristics.

It can be also used in pre-clinical studies to scan large bone or bone-segments with a resolution of 82 microns.
