Short Description
The Menlo Systems Frequency Comb System is a laser source that generates a phase-coherent optical frequency comb centered at a wavelength of 1542nm and includes frequency conversion with two dedicated ports at 729nm. The system is stabilized to an external optical reference with a linewidth of about 1Hz, enabling high-precision frequency metrology, optical clock comparisons, and spectroscopy. The system is characterized by high long-term stability and low phase noise. In addition, a connection to the AQUnet fiber network enables comparison with other reference lasers and clocks.
