High-performance cluster-based, Unix-based, MPI. The high-performance computer is essentially used for extremely extensive numerical (CPU-intensive) calculations.

Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure

Research projects using the device are: data mining, image recognition, image encryption, medical data processing in the field of automatic detection of celiac disease, colon cancer, kidney cysts. Watermarking and encryption of image data and sequences. High-dimensional number theoretical numerics for partial differential equations, integral equations and interpolation of functions. Simulation of processes, application of the method of density functionals in materials science.
