Open for Collaboration

Short Description

The field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) can image both organic and inorganic sample structures with high resolution. The charge compensation system of the microscope also allows the imaging of non-conductive samples without the need for conductive coating beforehand.

The FE-SEM provides a variety of analytical possibilities such as secondary and backscattered electron imaging, energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, electron backscattered diffraction, cathodoluminescence, micro-X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy, the electron-beam induced current method, and possibilities for integrated micro conductivity measurement.
