Short Description

The Velos Iontrap mass spectrometer is a basic research mass spectrometer enabling fast analysis of biological samples upon chromatographic separation. This mass spectrometer is not the "top" one, but it can be efficiently used for screenings.

Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure

Operators at the Proteomics Core Facility of the Medical University of Vienna have a long experience with mass spectrometers of different manufacturers. They also operate triple-quadrupole and TOF MS along with MALDI and Orbitrap.
