Scanning tunneling microscope for high resolution characterization and spectroscopy of surfaces and surface nanostructures in the temperature range from 16 to 350 Kelvin.

Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure

Investigation and fabrication of semiconductor hetero- and nanostructures consisting of SiGe, IV-VI, III-V and V-VI compounds using methods including molecular beam epitaxy, lithography, scanning probe microscopy, x-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, optical spectroscopy and magnetotransport.
