Research Services

No research service provided. If you are interested to use the machine in the frame of a scientific project, please send a short 1/2 page summary of the project including research question, sample number, and desired resolution to: Yannick M. Städler (yannick.staedler@univie.ac.at).

Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure

In the CT lab of Prof. Schönenberger, we establish methods to obtain quantitative morphological data from plant tissues. We developed methods that allow us to visualize flowers in 3D and quantify their morphology via geometric morphometrics. We also developed methods to use CT scan to count pollen grains.

Terms of Use

There are no specific use requirements. If you are interested to use the machine in the frame of a scientific project, please send a short 1/2 page summary of the project including research question, sample number, and desired resolution to: Yannick M. Städler (yannick.staedler@univie.ac.at).
