Open for Collaboration

Short Description

The LIT Open Innovation Center (LIT OIC) at Johannes Kepler University Linz is an 8,000 m² innovation hub that connects science, businesses, start-ups, and entrepreneurs. As an open platform, it fosters co-creation, knowledge transfer, and technological development.

The labs of the Linz Institute of Technology (LIT) located within the OIC focus on digital transformation topics such as Artificial Intelligence, Robot Intelligence, IT Security, Information Electronics, and Industry 4.0. At the same time, interdisciplinary institutes such as LIFT_C and the ArtxScience School for Transformation examine the societal, ecological, and economic transformation processes that are associated with this digital transformation.

With a dedicated point of contact for start-ups and numerous knowledge transfer formats, as well as events with external experts, the LIT OIC accelerates technology transfer and strengthens entrepreneurial thinking. In doing so, it contributes to the creation of a sustainable, forward-looking innovation landscape.
