Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure

The FACSMelody system supports a wide range of applications, including immunophenotyping, single-cell sorting, and the preparation of samples for downstream analyses such as cell culture or single-cell sequencing.

A major advantage of the system is its high degree of automation combined with intuitive software, which streamlines setup, operation, and data acquisition. This user-friendly design allows even less experienced users to perform advanced cell sorting while maintaining high sensitivity, purity, and reproducibility.

Terms of Use

The FACSMelody cytometer is available to both internal and external users upon request and is subject to applicable service fees. Users must submit a project proposal and comply with the facility’s usage guidelines. For further information, please contact us at facs@maxperutzlabs.ac.at.
