Short Description

This core facility focuses on motion and joint loading analyses and modeling of human movement. In addition to a three-dimensional motion analysis system (Vicon), one and three-dimensional force plates (AMTI), acceleration and force transducers, as well as a wireless EMG system and two high-speed cameras are used. For sports-specific analyses additional measuring equipment is available: treadmill (up to 40 km/h), an instrumented bike to measure pedal forces, an instrumented ski-jump binding and an instrumented ramp that can be continuously tilted from 0-21 °. Furthermore, this facility performs analyses and optimizations of sports equipment.
