Short Description
An electron diffractometer based on a 1M JUNGRAU charge-integrating detector (PSI, Switzerland; see DOI 10.1088/1748-0221/20/12/C12007) and a JEM2100plus transmission electron microscope (JEOL). The detector operates at 2000 Hz and features a very high linear dynamic range. The instrument is primarily used for single-crystal structure determination by 3D electron diffraction. A sample holder (ELSA698) is available, allowing measurements both at room temperature and under cooling down to 100 K.
