Short Description

The Core Facility includes a range of measuring instruments for the qualitative and quantitative determination of radionuclides as well as associated equipment for sample preparation. These include: pure germanium detectors, alphadetectors, scintillation detectors, gamma dosage meters, contamination monitors, flow centrifuges as well as several smaller measuring instruments and the associated nuclear electronics.

Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure

Measurement of artificial and natural radionuclides in all types of media. Implementation of research projects and, if necessary, order surveys. Irradiation experiments.
