Short Description
FarmDroid is a solar-powered field robot for autonomous sowing and mechanical weed control. It uses RTK-GPS to mark the exact plant position, enabling targeted cultivation between and within the rows. The precise control significantly reduces or eliminates the need for manual maintenance. The integrated solar modules charge a battery system for up to 24 hours of operation. FarmDroid will be used as a platform for sensors and optical systems to collect data and create digital twins.
