The coworking space on the JKU campus brings together the expertise of science and industry in one place, creating an ecosystem for innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship.
The transdisciplinary research labs and companies located in the 8,000m² open space share a common focus on technological innovation and its implementation in society.
The building, constructed in 2019, serves as a hub for collaboration on research and development projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotic intelligence, IT security, information electronics, and Industry 4.0.
Together with the LIT Factory, the LIT OIC is an open platform that explores and develops the potential and technologies of digitalization while also creating cross-industry solutions for the production of innovative products.
