IT:U LearnLabs are enabling spaces where IT:U students study digital technology in small groups following a project-based education concept. The digital manufacturing lab HANS provides students with additive and subtractive digital production facilities, including 3d FDM printers and desktop milling machines, as well as electronics workstations.

Methoden & Expertise zur Forschungsinfrastruktur
The IT:U LearnLabs are operated and maintained by doctoral and senior postdoctoral researchers and lecturers on a permanent basis. The staff of the smart manufacturing LearnLab Hans is experienced in designing and manufacturing small-scale prototypes using modern digital manufacturing methods.
IT:U LearnLabs are primarily used to educate students in the use of digital technology. External usage of the lab is subject to course schedules. Please contact the lab staff for information about external use.
