ELT (ESO): European Extremely Large Telescope - European Southern Observatory
The European Southern Observatory (ESO) is the leading European organisation for astronomical research and the most scientifically productive observatory in the world. With its telescopes and instruments, ESO creates the conditions for cutting-edge astronomical research. The European Extremely Large Telescope (ELT) will be the largest optical and near-infrared telescope in the world and will collect 13 times more light than the largest optical telescopes in existence today.
