Short Description

The cellenONE® X1 is a platform for preparation of single-cells with special focus on single-cell proteomics but equally enabling multi-omics workflows. It provides real-time and high accuracy single cell isolation based on picolitre-dispensing technology and coupled with advanced image processing. The analysis of single cell proteomes using (liquid chromotography-)mass spectrometry is highly relevant to expand single cell transcriptomics for analysis of actual protein expression, protein isoforms and post-translational modifications.

Single-cell proteomics and metabolomics

Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure

Using the SCoPE2 approach and the ProteoCHIP consumables, a newly developed well-plate containing twelve times sixteen nanowells for processing up to 192 single cells per chip single-cell proteomic analysis in high throughput and sensitivity, becomes possible. Very recently, the approach has been extended to high sensitivity label-free proteomics. The workflow overcomes all manual sample handling steps and allows direct interfacing with a standard autosampler to maximize peptide recovery throughout the sample preparation.
