The measuring tower has a height of 32 m and consists of a scaffold tube construction, with five platforms. Power supply (400V 16A) is available and it is equipped with vertical lifeline systems

Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure
The tower is located at Heuberg upper slope site (670m m.a.s.l.) and it is used for eddy covariance measurements; a phenocam is also installed. The tower allows for accessing the canopy and for monitoring of e.g. air at different heights
