Short Description
The multi-antenna radar system is used for the non-destructive investigation of historical soil layers. Unlike conventional ground-penetrating radar systems, which have a single transmitting and receiving antenna, the staggered arrangement of the antennas here enables the generation of three-dimensional models of the subsurface.

Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure
The multi-antenna radar system will be integrated into the multi-sensor robot platform developed as part of the heritageROSS project. Complementing sensor systems such as LiDAR or photogrammetry, it provides data on the ground.
