Research Services

Facility staff assistance with imaging is possible.
For independent use training is required.

Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure

Primarily designed for imaging fluorescently-labelled cells, either live or fixed, in thin sheets. Shows remarkable speed along with very high resolution. Can image subcellular structures down to single-molecule level. Could be applied to image other fluorescent samples, as long they are excitable with 488, 561 or 640nm laser wavelengths, and not thicker than 150µm.

Terms of Use

The device is available for use to all scientists, academic and industrial, regardless of their affiliation. The contact email should be written to facility manager (below) to arrange further details. Hourly fees apply.
