Research Services

The device is available for use to any interested scientist. There is an option for assistance with data acquisition.

Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure

The device is used to obtain force maps of biological samples (mainly tissue sections), or to perform in depth quantitative imaging of specific regions of interest. The mechanical measurements are directly overlaid with the optical images taken with the bright field microscope.

Terms of Use

To use please contact the facility manager to get the training. The usage is charged per hour.

Reference Projects

LifeScope3D, funded by the FFG.
