Research Services
Capture and processing of aeronautical signals in the areas of navigation, communication, and surveillance.
Methods & Expertise for Research Infrastructure
The receiving station primarily serves educational purposes, making real aeronautical navigation signals accessible for further processing. In this way, signal spectra from VOR, NDB, ILS, GNSS, as well as radar signals, are available for signal processing purposes. In the field of applied research and development, the facility serves, for example, as a reception point for the exploration of passive radar concepts.
